The Donors Choose grant that I wrote "A Materials Must" was fully funded. Two donors generously donated money that enabled us to have a new set of markers and paper . Donors Choose requires teachers to type an online thank you letter and upload six photos of students using the funded materials. click on the link below to learn more about the grant proposal and to see photos of students using our new markers. Thank you again Donors Choose and to our very generous donors!

Within this lesson, students learned the basic printmaking techniques, while studying artist, Leanne Graeff. Students created original prints depicting a piece of architecture that is meaningful/ represents who they are. Students focused on the elements of arts and the PRINCIPLES of Design, including space, line, and contrast. In this lesson, students discussed the art of typography and how graphic designers create work that combines both the elements of text and image. Students developed a subject mater that relates to the Spring season. Students then rendered their designs using both shading and blending techniques. |
